Oh, I forgot, but this was in Episode 1: 1. If you are a coldcaller, never try to talk to a woman, just hang up....
I was thinking the same thing. He rented a Ferarri to drive to a business meeting in the first episode. In the second episode, he had a stretch limo just for himself and then he jumped on a helicopter to take him to JFK from Manhattan because he was running a few minutes behind schedule. Seems like a tremendous waste of money (in my opinion).
I have to admit cutting your shoelaces is lame; we get it you are living large. So how much is a helcopter rental? No one commented on the scary option broker chicks, (2008 and still no hot chicks in the pits) Let's send Rennick in with three bottles of tequila.
I'd like to see more of that private equity manager. And less of that woman trying to find HF managers.
thats not a bad price considering the convenience of beating traffic to reach the airport, and have baller status.
I agree, but don't forget that: A. - He is on TV, so wants to build himself up. Probably usually takes cabs to the airport, and rents a Camry not a Ferrari. I would do the same if I was on TV. B. - He's 28 and manages 100's of millions (oooh I am jealous), He must be making several million a year and could afford to own the Ferrari and garage it. He could probably even afford the limo's everyday. I would have liked to have seen more of the English/Pakistani girl from season 1. The only other trader they showed was Alex, but he was a piker compared to the girl, who claimed to be trading the Schatz and making/losing 100's of thousands a day. She was a bigtime trader (supposedly).
