C'mon everyone. If you are going to make fun or criticize at least spell it correctly. Anyone remember a real boiler room, DH Blair?
Why is everyone surprised about her having to read a beginner's guide? Most schools don't have an intro to daytrading course... Although mine did
Man this is bad. The junior stock traders.. I would hang up on them in a second. I thought cold calling was so 1987 lol. Thre show is entertaining but makes it look like Wall Street has idiots and wannabees doesn't it? Stock brokers are just salesman so do not try to pass them off as traders. The only reason they are pushing SNDK is because they are all in on it. It is no different than Sorpanos pushing Wobistics. ONly fascinating person I wanted to hear about was the Options Broker for cotton but they said nothing about what she does. She is talking about crop reports and stuff but she is a BROKER, if I heard correctly. She is not trading for herself, just repeating customer's orders so I do not think her opinion is taken by anyone, no? Someone with expericne as floor broker? Anyway, the clips have The Apprentice feel where everyone dresses the part and says the cliche things but scratch that away and you have no real talent. I have seen more trading acument on ET than in these clips lol.
No kidding. They should have Szeven on there. Although the kid who owns his own fund is pretty cool though. Anyone know what month this was produced?
I do not see anything in this Lattetia chick that shows she can make it as a daytrader this way. It is one thing if she traded for years on the side and learned over time but she is getting thrown into something with a quick trading training program and expects to make money in 6 months LOL>>.....
Ok still watching the videos and my jaw is dropping.. Those brokers are just copying lines from Wall Street, Boiler Room and some other movies we have all seen... Do people really respond to these random horrible cold calls? No wonder there are so many sheeple in the company. They are pushing SNDK not because they love the company so much as they are loaded up in it. Almost fraudulent in a way lol... I just cannot believe they get people to fill those jobs.
The cotton option broker is exactly that - a broker, not a local. Any local who is successful long-term is simply arbing the paper in the ring, not taking speculative crop report positions. The crop report talk is nothing more than a habit useful for drumming up business from her customers. She likely trades little, if at all, for herself - and if she does, the trade never hits the ring until she dumps it off on a local for a few quick ticks.
