  2. So the "some" republicans basically is comprised of one guy, Mitch Daniels, a chronic whiner who didn't have the balls to run himself. His big idea is to raise taxes, and he is upset no one is pushing it. Obviously, he is hoping to gin up some enthusiasm among the mainstream media to encourage someone better to run, someone who will discuss the hard issues, someone...why someone a lot like Mitch Daniels. Forget it.

    The problem with Christie is when he actually gets in the race, voters will learn that he is not really all that conservative, except on public finances. Not to say he is not a good guy, but I don't see him winning primaries in conservative states like SC. He is kind of the eastern version of Huntsman. Not a bad governor, probably wouldn't be a bad president, but republican primary voters are fed up with having media-approved candidates forced down their throats because they are "electable." We fell for that last time.
