  2. the turn on bar ten and early exit.

note how I spread my items for duplication around. They are near but out of the way. Often I dup stuff from nearby. (BM's and P1's , etc.

As you see a lat is beginning soon. Up to now lats didn't slow the profit segments down.

Anyway 1/6th of the day is over. and an hour has past.; I am a little sloppy at this point. The BOT1 on bar 12 is after the early exit and I do not like to side in the market when a lat is forming.

  3. Here is a detail on the bar 12.

as you see the three moves of the short are showing.

M1 ended on bar 12 and M2 shows as a black retrace Then M3 is there on bar 14 and going forward on bar 15 (just wait and see.

So I did an early exit according t the cards you made.

for slower type approaches, people sit through what they call drawdowns. To do this a lot of knowledge is involved. most of the time the knowledge arrives long after the capital is divested. I make less money than the top notch traders and it just falls in the "unbelievable" category for the CW types.

  4. wrapping up page 1 of the log.

bar 18 is the lat 4.

at this time you did the retro and already knew you had a reversal on bar 17. you also knew by anticipation that the cards said it was a hold thru for the turn a "b" turn in a "drift" type trend. as time passes you will see why the adjectives I use to make nouns more explicite come into being.

for lats the highlight is to put in a tan box for the first three bars and to place a 3 on the volume as a reminder that a retro is coming up. Then after that I simple do the number of the bar in the lat as a hilite on the price pane.

  6. Just a brief interjection on how extracting capital out of Wall Street to put it to work on solving problems. I recommend that amateurs solve local problems.

12May 14 of bloomberg/BW contains an article worth reading. Amateurs waste their time scaling up into teams if the team doesn't haave solidarity. But if you do, then do team up.

the article begins on page 56. three guys put 13 billion into various NFP's and some problem solving corps. they use a simple test for misalignment of fundamentals and they also screw a particular type of corporate arraingment (usually overseas). So far they have a kitty of another10 billion to hand out.

On page 60 is a simple flow sheet that was developed to ferret out their machinations.

What is nice about this kind of extraction is that it puts capital to work in good places to help out.

Today's chart is a good example of continally extracting capital and compounding by adding contracts.

the market moves slowly compared to the human brain. If you develop good eye hand function it is easy to stay ahead of the market. What makes this possible is drills.

Throp did this for a card game called blackjack. He put the cards in a small anvelop in the back cover of the book: "Beat the Dealer". I used the 5's theory in Vegas for a week long ago. silver dollers were in play at the time. by doing the drills to play cards, I worked with a crew there to help them learn blackjack. we started with chip cups and moved to ice buckets the second day. Then as we had to change casino's we rented a car for convenience. After that we used an empty bed to pile the silver dollars on and during days we kept adding ice buckets full of coins. We edited an anvironmental book during day hours over that week and only gambled in the evenings. the ice buckets represented compounding to us.

Many people who sat with us were pissed off people. They knew we were "cheating". we were unbelievable to them. we always kept track of how fast they changed dealers on us. Three in 45 minutes was my personal best.

What I liked best was how fast the watresses learned to replenish my free drinks. It is amazing how strong a scotch and water can get in just a few rounds. Then they ask you to go have a comp diner to break up the run. This all was so long ago that most casinos were still playing with one deck.

Having mental agility and using a "system" is how money is made. as shown in Bloomberg all you have to do is get at team together

What would you name the team of Covell, Schwager and Goodboy. All three definitely missed the team in the article. Notice how the SEC jumped right on them (As I expereinced right off as well) for being "insiders". The SEC is so FOS it isn't funny at all.

  7. Google Pekelo and Drownpruf.

Let me know if you agree with their mistaken views of my "prints".

also google the 31 stock trades to exit on 100,000 shares for an average of 17 points profit. Google Gary Smith, since at the time we were sharing "best single holds".

Also help me out by explaining to ET how these two kooks mind's are fouled up .

I trade an MAT system so there are no personal items. My broker has been obligated to set up an account with no capital as the leading account from which all other accounts subtend. I appreciate the extra protection they afford me.

For my first prints, Nitro was nice enough to explain to ET how "photoshopping" worked. I was glad to learn about it form him , as well.

    Welcome to ET.

This thread was originally placed in with the journals. very soon it was dumped into this forum.

I normally do not ask for search assistance, but if Jack, Hero, FF, WWU, Snowbee, or , any other student could post a link(s) to the topic of "retro" it would be greatly appreciated. Links do not need to be ET btw.

    Thanks

  9. What is the question?

Look in this thread to see what to do when the fourth bar of a lateral appears.
