    You may have already run across the "rules" for trading FTTs, but if not, here they are in simplistic form.
    • FTT ---> FTT ---> Reverse
    • FTT ---> FBO ---> Exit
    • FTT ---> BO ---> Hold

    Just trying to help where I can.

    Thanks wilddog and river, I've learned from my husband that people rage about Jack all the time but if you are willing to put in the time and use common sense, his method does work.

    Thanks for looking over my drills! I like to see other people's drills...it helps me to fill in the gaps in my own work. I also like to see how different minds approach the same drills.

    Curious to know, do those who trade this method open directly into a trade with the data from the previous day in a trade? It would open in the middle of a trend line. Or do you wait until the initial trend finishes and then get in?

    With the volatility of the market open, seems like it would be easier to wait until things calm down, but if you get in right away, how do you handle the volatility?

  3. Okay.

    Here we go.

    I decided to post here instead of doing word attachments and keeping track of those who click on the attachments.

    As river says reading other threads to pass time is not productive. But it does establish a referential basis for stepping up to the plate for making money.

    Since I am very old, my basic interest is in passing on the future foundations of trading. And I am interested in the creation of capital by extraction from Wall St to help solve local problems on Main St.

    In the futrue science will be used as the foundation of trading. Elsewhere there are a couple of threads where it is mentioned that a search is going on to find some people who have not been found as yet. we all are supposed to "put up or shut up" as to being found. I have declined to be found since I am a scientist and no one is looking for scientists as yet.

    Elsewhere, I mentioned how most people are affected by my work every day in three ways. My fourth and fifth contributions are curing PTSD and laying a scientific foundation for the system of market's operation. All five contributions are based upon science.

    Sciences of many sorts surround us and shape us. Markets turn out to be counterintuitive. read all the bio's of successful traders to see how they worked counterintuitively and unscientifically to take money away from toehr by participating in markets. today the financial industry and the government have also forfeited integrity to carry on thier crusades to acquire capital and misregulate for the vested interests.

    We, as parasites, will use science extract capital and reroute it to lcoal problem solving which also uses integrity and science hand in hand. There is no need for a parasite to behave as does its host.

    Look at all the systems science has discovered and defined. WOW!!!!

    I have covered the five groups. So now that everyone had done drills to build minds, w can go baqck and iteratively refine everything and put it into the package we will use every day. Scoop up my recent posts elsewhere and place them in the back of your 1/2 inch binder. Also read them.

    The system of operation of the markets is crystalline. Granulrity created the system construct. We have a complete system with a finite number of elements and all elements are unique and precisely defined. So breathe easily.

    You wrote a contract for partnering with the market and each partner's role is defined and no one oversteps the defined bounds. The market is always correct and it has no noise, no flaws and no anomalies.

    Naturally, I have to hand out both covers of the 1/2 inch binder and the lookup sheets that are within. Also we have to examine in detail the process you do to BE DO HAVE.

  4. Here is an overview of you partnering with a market.

    The system is fractal in nature and the fractals interlock. A cluster of crystals form as time passes.

    In Tucson, we have a global gem show and it is beyond what a person can dream about. I go twice, once at each end. First to look at the splendor and second to assist vendors in not packing anything they are willing to bargain away. I have a friend who spent 60K wiring the lighting of his collection. (both black and white lighting).

    By scoping and bounding all the elements of the scientifically based system, we place them in their portion of the system's structure. They are there, none are missing.

    We have an Erector Set or a Lego Set.

    Each day of the market allows us to construct. As Helmholtz opined, the human interrelates the science of the environment with the human processes of the built mind using the bridge of the sensory operators of the mind O1, O2 and O3. It is a sociological and psychological process.

    O1 for space ( A retangular space in the case of the panes of a chart); O2 for shapes (our relative defined pairs or triads of bars); and O3 for change of shapes (Our observation of coming to "lock in" before the end of an interval).

  5. We did a drill to find the ten cases of price.

    Put the expressions for these on your platform for annotating. If the platform is not capable, then change platforms. My platform is poor so I put them on and make an dajustment for the shortcoming of the Genesis platform. They promised to correct the platform so I wrote the libraries on that platform.

    For volume there are peaks and troughs to use. They are P1, P2 and P3 and T1, and
    T2P and T2F. They follow an order of events. P is asigned and other P1's are larger than the assigned. Ti is after a P1 when it is less than a P1. After a T1 the next peak is a P@ and never a P1. This forms the A band of bands. A P1 may follow a P2 if it exceeds the prior P1. P2's can follow P2's if the prior P2 is exceeded. when any peak question occurs use the leftmost in the test as written on the log.

    T2P's appear after P2's and they are between P2 and T1 in value. A T2F can appear after a T2P and it is less than a T2P and more than a T1. The T2's are used to define the last move of a trend as a zone of values in the independent variable.

    For volume, the test procedure detemines the OOE of a trend in the independent variable.

    This is all that is annotated on bars or the highlighting of bars.

    All trends come to ends as defined by the various End Effects.

    This post completely defines the market variables in a bar by bar process. Trends are formed from these OOE's.

    Look at thousands of annotated charts to learn to follow the trend process bar by bar.

  6. There are a finite number of the places (End Effects) where trends end. Here I will post the four look up tables for all of these End Effects.

    End effects come in two classes: normal and failsafe. I added fail safe to preclude taking any losses while trading. It is never necessary to take a loss in trading. If you use certain market tools of trading to be in the fast lane, there is a penalty to step in front of the mundane typee trader. I always trade from the fast lane since timing is more improtant than anything in making money.

    the look up tables are: failsafe, PP's, A band and other bands (B through K). the attachments are not sized; do sizing as you wish.

  7. the PP is the Pre Preliminary band.

    sometimes a trend is cut short very rapidly and sometimes peculiar price bars come up. also sometimes volume bars interpose thmeselves between other values. So it goes. Everything possible has to be taken into acount and considered in the proper context.

    I will follow up to try to get the attachment to work
