What method do you use for screening stocks? I'm usually looking to hold positions for as long as the stock moves in the right direction, but I'm nervous about holding shorts overnight. For longs I look at analyst ratings and then look for high ROE, relatively low debt and earnings per share growth. For shorts, I look for the inverse. I'm curious to know how others look for opportunities.
