Greg is a clickbait youtuber who makes thousands from pandering to Republicans, why should I care about a shill's opinion?
Well now you're asking for psychoanalysis for which i should receive at least $60 an hour for. The pandering, and it's respondents, does/do not promote sanity, which i would describe as consistent thinking clean of cognitive dissonance. Nor did i say Republicans are immune from this, as they are people too, which are naturally susceptible to cognitive dissonance. Just saying the DNC is reaching levels of notoriousness rarely seen before, except perhaps in 1933.
But you are a conservative white and this sub-group votes for Republicans as a monolith and by that logic they are racist too .
The difference between a panderer and a genuine rep(resentative) ought to be clear, so if you can't tell the difference, that would explain why you are so easily confused by politics and political parties. The confusion you experience is boosted by basic bigotry on one or more of the points the party is pandering to. With your initial bigotry, you help them pander to you.
No because racism, that is, the use of pandering in regards race, to capture the minds of racial bigots, is not a platform in the Republican party like it is in the Democratic party, the party of the old South. Whites are disproportionally responding to messages about policy, and especially equal opportunity and equal application of good laws. They may be susceptible to pandering, in regards those messages, but those are the messages they are responding to. And i've not disclosed my ethnicity here. Continue assuming.
I am not denying that political parties pander to groups, what I am saying is that the Republican party drives away minorities because they have to pander to white conservatives making it easy for Democrats to pander to these minorities. If Republicans didn't court racist segregationists in the 60s after Civil Rights Act passed or if Republicans didn't oppose gay rights for decades, Dems would have had nothing to pander with.
Tell me what a conservative is, and i'll tell you if i am one. Out of my last 1000 incarnations, i'm not sure how many times i was white or was a conservative.
And what policy is that? Immigration, affirmative action, stopping police reform, cutting spending for minorities. Tell me other policies that whites are responding to.
It's a very simple old definition Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
I can't agree. And now you are reaching, really reaching back to the 60's. I can reach back too, to when the Democrats where the party of the old South, and most blacks were helped by, and gave their support to, Republicans. So, i don't think Republicans are driving away critical thinkers. They may be driving away racists, yes, who are easily swept up by the old South...i mean the Democrats. My point is you have to be a little bit racist to begin with, to fall in with panderers along those lines. Racism is essentially bigotry, which is a closed mindedness, which numbs one's ability to learn anything new. Bigotry is characterized by ignorance, not just natural ignorance, but a lack of facts, or a confusion of facts due to ignoring the truth. Bigotry is boosted by emotions like resentment which can also be described as unforgiveness, or a lack of a big perspective. It's small, narrow thinking, in it's own prison of mind.
