This type of argument could be used with the complaints "high taxes!", "big government!", "socialized healthcare!", "liberal media!", "Obama's a Nazi!", and so on. Yes, we have it easier here.

"Hobby Lobby's founders have made it clear that any abortion and certain contraceptives are unacceptable in their eyes, yet the company's 401(k) plan has millions of dollars invested in funds that own the companies that make birth control methods including Plan B, the so-called "morning after" drug."

    Lol, oops.

  3. Futurecurrents seems unaware that religious freedom is enshrined in the First Amendment. It's spelled out explicitly too, so we don't need any of this "living Constitution" ficiton to find it.

The right to have someone else pay for your healthcare, even for birth control pills, is no where mentioned.

"War on women" really means that whoever resists giving women free stuff is against them, oppressing them.

Think about it. This is really the fighting banner of those who intend to use the Treasury to buy votes. You offer more... we'll top you, eg, give various groups whatever they want, free food, houses, entertainment, etc etc. As long as they vote for us so that we can make $millions on their backs (eg, the Clintons) Our political debate is devolving into a bidding war using our own money.

I'm afraid that this is the beginning of the end for the good days of the country. That's what Alexis de Tocqueville said many years ago: "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."

He also said that "Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude."

And, back to the latest SCOTUS decision, his words are also relevant: "Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith."

    :(

  7. The idea that the US Constitution is a "living document" is bullshit, too. It was set up specifically to prevent what's going on right now. It was intended to NOT be "massaged" or "modified" to suit greed or lust for power at ANY time.

  8. But it has been modified multiple times, dipstick. It was a good start. That's all. Times change and progress happens. To stay with one thing some guys wrote hundreds of years ago is just as stupid as clinging to Bronze Age myths. So of course that's what dumb righties want to do.

  9. "Dumb righties"? Name one thing that ANY libturd or group of libturds has EVER done that was even REMOTELY as successful as what " some guys wrote hundreds of years ago."

Odumbo is a sterling example of what happens when a libturd "thinks" they know better than the founders:
    POLL: Obama Worst Modern-Day President

And this proves beyond the shadow of a doubt what a delusional moron you are:
She [Hillary Clinton] will be a great president. She is smart and motivated by the desire to do good for the US. IOW her heart is the right place and her head is good. She is for the right things. That's what for one I look for in a president.
