I don’t think you will find what you are looking for here. any nice coworking space will have some independent or emerging hedge fund traders. You won’t get gb broadband if you need that kind of latency.
Why would a truly great trader need to work at a prop firm? I'm kind of failing to see the logic. It's like Beyonce and Destiny's Child...all group bands have one star that eventually leaves and branches out on their own. While the others are essentially dead weight anchors.
are you competing for the dumbest poster in this thread. Mark had the title and now you took it from him.
Huge buying power. Access to oversubscribed IPOs and secondaries. 80% of the guys were former sell side. You wouldn't believe my bp-figure if I told you. Surrounded by guys with deep knowledge in their niche. Yeah, a terrible idea.
I must be slow today or something. But I still don't realize any added benefit of joining a prop firm vs me trading my Fidelity account from home on my phone and stylus.
there’s only a handful of guys here who would fit what you are looking for and that’s before your geographic constraint. This site is good for shooting the shit talk but that’s about it and helping newbies who have a good attitude. a good coworking space will have some decent individual traders or emerging hedge funds. Plus there will be all sorts of other people that you can draw comraderie and inspiration from. personally I love working from home. The best part of my day is now walking to my office with my coffee in hand.
