Scottrade anyone????

    I used to use mytrack. I think their software for trading was top notch as the quotes etc. never got behind. But you had to pay for it. I quit trading for a while and went to delayed quotes. Then they started charging 5 bucks a month for that if you didn't trade. commisions were also too high. Scottrade elite seemed to be the answer. However you get what you pay for. Even if i have just one stock for quotes and am using a 1 min chart once it starts to move the screen locks up sometimes for 30 seconds or more. No good for trading. Also when getting quotes for options they only show the lowest bid and highest ask. I also use options express as scottrade will not allowed selling spreads etc. When I pull up streaming option order book with OX you can see scottrade only showing low bid high ask. This is just my experience with scottrade. I am seriously thinking of switching brokers (again!) to TOS. Hope this helps.
