    I am afraid you have a very distorted view of history. There are different levels of corruption. The perjury that Clinton committed by lying about personal matters hardly rises to the level of criminal activity that Nixon was involved in,eg., attempting to bribe a Federal Judge, ordering the Attorney General to fire a special Prosecutor who was investigating Nixon's role in Watergate, and then forcing the Attorney General to step down when he refused, aiding and abetting thieves, witness tampering by arranging for payment of hush money, using the IRS to harass political enemies, etc., etc., etc. He could have gone to prison for many years had Ford not pardoned him. Do you think that Ford would have had to pardon him for "policy differences with the democrats?"

    "Policy differences with democrats" were hardly the reason all those people from the Nixon administration ended up in prison! And those "differences" are hardly the reason Nixon resigned.
