  3. First Scott McClellan was a Press Sec that couldn't even write his own speeches now he was able to write a book? He was able to to include "facts" from meetings he was never in? In THE SAME BOOK he complains of always being "left out of the loop" yet seems to know everything that went on in the loop? I think not. Someone else wrote the book or at least told him what to write.

The truth will come out very soon now that Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.) has called on the former White House press secretary to testify under oath before the House Judiciary Committee. How will Scott explain his supposed knowledge of what went on in meetings that he was not included in? We shall see. If Scott purgers himself in front of the Judiciary Committee he will be imprisoned and if he recants the statements in his book he will likely be charged with libel and or fraud and his reputation will be ruined. He had better hope to god his book is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and that he can prove it to the committee.

  4. So when does Colin Powell write his book and get the same scrutiny as McClellan, Paul O'Neill and Richard Clarke?

Tidbit on Abrams show last night on CNBC, Lawrence O’Donnell to Pat Buchanan:

“It‘s great to hear Pat Buchanan complaining about the lack of courage in a White House, where White House staff did not come out and try to expose that White House. Pat was part of the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States, the Nixon administration, luckily, Pat wasn‘t one who went to jail.

But to this day, you can‘t get Pat Buchanan to say one negative word about the criminal operation called the Nixon administration that he worked inside of. That‘s what I call loyalty.”

    ---

lol. Pat drank from his cup and said nothing.

Lol - I guess it's like pleading the fifth amendment in the US - refusing to incriminate himself.

  6. Interesting responses from the 25 percentiles on ET.

Bush obviously lied. Everyone with half a brain realizes that fact.

Bush and his 25 percentile supporters all suffer from the same mental illness.

psychopathic imbecils suffering from delusions of grandeur.

one of the unique things about the psychopath: their seeming inability to conceive of the abstract idea of "the future."

It has often been noted that psychopaths have a distinct advantage over human beings with conscience and feelings because the psychopath does not have conscience and feelings. What seems to be so is that conscience and feelings are related to the abstract concepts of "future" and "others." It is "spatio-temporal." We can feel fear, sympathy, empathy, sadness, and so on because we can IMAGINE in an abstract way, the future based on our own experiences in the past, or even just "concepts of experiences" in myriad variations. We can "predict" how others will react because we are able to "see ourselves" in them even though they are "out there" and the situation is somewhat different externally, though similar in dynamic. In other words, we can not only identify with others spatially - so to say - but also temporally - in time.

The psychopath does not seem to have this capacity.

Based on the above definition. Some modern medication seems to have helped scott mcclellan overcome his mental illness.

  7. i would say they are more sociopathic than psychopathic. the latter entails delusions like hearing voices that aren't there. both are void of consciences though.

Methinks you're confusing psychopathic with psychotic (aka 'crazy').

Psychopathic and sociopathic are synonyms. Most do not display overtly insane behavior, although the ultimate consequences of their self-centered acts may be deemed so.

  10. About those voices, didn't GWB claim that God told him to invade Iraq?
