The terms will be modified and it will be voted on again. Paulson wants to give this money to Wall Street. Bernanke wants to give this money to Wall Street. Bush wants to give this money to Wall Street. Wall Street wants this money. They will find a way to get it. It's much too early to be celebrating.

  2. Government has to get smaller....

    But better managed.........

And business has got to be better shared....with less brick walls.....

    I am telling you........

A modest consumption tax only....let the chips fall where they may....the list goes on....

Things have to get really ugly to change......

    Change is never comfortable.....

But from this discomfort....comes true growth.....

    FUCK SOCIALISM !!!!!!!!!!!!

    USA ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it isn't too early to celebrate. Even if they do eventually find a way to ram this down our throats, for at least a few minutes today there were some fat cats and politicians shitting their pants. They thought they had this in the bag.

Not so fast here. The democrats were against the original bail out in the first place. Bush wants to pass this, so the Dems get the ridiculous terms in, most everythings were for the people, for Americans. Fund for Schools, Limits on CEO's pay .... etc ... In the end, it's a bail out package the proves to be so disadvantageous to the Republicans that they have to bite the bullets and rejected it. That's why the Dems were so all for it when they were really against it in the beginning.

    Got it?

  7. Depends on who's show is on. Yesterday even Fox News was supporting it.

That doesn't agree with what I heard; would you mind posting your source for this viewpoint?

My impression was that a lot of "more traditional" Republicans opposed this on principle more than anything else.

  10. I'm tired of hearing this nitwits saying America doesn't "get it". We fucking get it! We understand things are fucked up and there will be a price to pay. What we're unwilling to do is give this government of ours another 700 billion. This is the United States government we're talking about. You know the one that has thrown trillions of dollars at every fucking problem under the sun and shit is still a mess. These are the same dopes that spend 400 bucks for a toilet seat.
No talking heads, we get it. We've had enough of the smoke and mirrors. Enough of the bullshit! Enough of the con job. NO MORE MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT HUSTLERS!!!
