Science, Meta-physics and Trading

  1. one of the problems with this thread (there are more) is that the topic is far far too broad. that allows too much leeway fro interpretation by the respondants.

try narrowing the topic down to something very specific.

  2. It's not broad... it's just that some have a narrow mind...

  3. look gann, some of us have the critical mind of a scientist, that's not necessarily "narrow". precise, skeptical, demanding, rigorous - those are better descriptors. and i think it all good. try it sometime.

"science, metaphysics and trading" -that's pretty damn broad in my opinion. lol. let's take one term - metaphysics. do you even know what the hell it encompasses? i sincerely doubt you can even define it properly, let alone speak to the matter. there are very few here who could define this properly. without proper definition how do you expect to talk intelligently about it and then the more daunting task of applying it to trading. LMAO!! the naive gall some of you have. lmao!!

  4. So Saynt states that I have a pea brain. Now I won't argue about that for the moment as this post is merely to establish that Saynt has a small heart, is all talk and no substance.

Saynt states that all that esoteric stuff is bullshit.

When however he is asked to put his money where his mouth in a bet which is heavily slanted in his favour he totally ignores the challenge.

Let me reiterate what has happened sofar :

In the past I carried out an experiment relating to synchronicity.

I came up with results which are statistically highly significant which pretty well convinced me that the idea of synchronicity may have value. (I also note that synchronicity may prove to be of practical use in one's trading.)

Saynt appears to dispute the existence of anything unscientific (which word to him carries the meaning 'anything he himself cannot understand') and runs for cover when challenged via a bet.

Conclusion : Saynt is just a lot of noise and has no heart, lacks the courage of his conviction.

Let me repeat this : Saynt is just a lot of noise and has no heart, lacks the courage of his conviction

Again, why would you refuse to rip some money off me Saynt ?
Is it because you are good hearted or because you lack the conviction of what you are saying ?

After all, statistically the odds are 300,000 to 1 in your favour.

  9. Sorry, I didn't see this sooner. Kind of got board with the thread . Didn't take a screenshot of todays trading but got this one from yesterday showing someone who's interested in the So9 and how to use it. This was taken before lunch so it's a little light on the days total take.

  10. freealways,

i am interested to hear about your "experiment" concerning syncronicity. i have always felt (although there is no proof that i know of ) a collective unconsciousness some people are able to tap at will, others witness it thru syncronicity as spoken of by jung.

    best,

    surfer:)
