Schwab CT 9.95 flat - Cybertrader next?

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by Cdntrader, May 25, 2004.

  1. Schwab CT has gone to 9.95 flat fee for unlimited trades. Can Cybertrader be far behind?

The CT platform is very close to Cybertraders platform.

  2. Cyber as offered by questrade gives 9.95/unlimited via Island route. When I was daytrading I used Island and INCA mostly (now the same ECN) so I dont have a problem routing to Island.

  3. Here's what someone will have to do to stand out.

1 cent a share up to 500 shares, 1/2 cent next 500-Unlimited, CAPPED at 9.95.

Get that, per share for the small lots, max fee 9.95 for the big ones.

First one to get this in place wins.

    :) :( :D

    patsup

    yes that would be great

doesn't mbtrading do that though? (http://www.mbtrading.com/rates.asp)
or is it just one plan or the other? not "both"? i have not used them so i don't know

  5. No way it will happen going direct access, because if you removed liquidity the brokerage firm could actually lose money on the trade because of the ECN fees. You know they won't let that happen.

  6. What are you talking about. They are already giving you the all in rate at 10 bucks, ecn fees be damned. The only thing that hasn't happened is the combining of the low minimum with the unlimited price.

    Think hard on it.
