Schwab After Hours Trading is BAD !!

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by musicman, Feb 5, 2013.

  1. musicman,
This is off topic but since you have experience with Schwab, did you use the T&S window to trade? Any problems with duplicate block shares printed? Thanks.

  2. I use their market depth trading window – I would not know if there were duplicate block trades as it was moving so fast and I would not pay attention to that anyway. Even if I did pay attention I doubt I could tell if there were duplictae trades being posted.

  3. ZNGA had very active trading after they reported , no reason for my trades not to go off , you can see I cancelled and re submitted many times.

  4. Schwab "After-Hours" order routing does not begin until 4:15PM
You can submit your order starting at 4:05PM, but it won't get executed until 4:15PM

ARCA and NASDAQ order routing is available though.

  5. I did route via Acra to start. Bottom line - Schwab sucks . Never again will I trade anything with them other then long term or swing trades. After hours starts at 4 Pm - Schwab wont execite until 4:15 - WTF kind of BS is that .

  7. Were other trades taking place at the time?

    I don't think you mentioned.

  8. If you direct routed, you should have been able to sell an existing long position. What did Schwab say? My experience, when I used them, was that the Active Trader staff were straight shooters and didn't try to sugar coat any answers.
