Cameron says all three were hospitalized and the shooter was later pronounced dead. Well at least the school resource officer did his damn job this time and went immediately into the school and took out the shooter.

True but one shooter had a handgun and the other had an AR 15. Engaging a shooter with an AR 15 would be much scarier than engaging a shooter with a handgun.
A bullet is a bullet. Unless the defender is wearing full body armor he can be taken out, especially by someone more trained (as an officer should be).
Just because you pee your panties every time you read about an AR-15, it doesn't mean that anyone wielding one is immune to bullets from handguns. Thank God that school wasn't a gun free zone.
Wrong. Fundamentelly wrong and blind. When handguns are banned - as they most certainly should be - and possesion of such resullting in jail sentence you can be damn sure that there would be fewer handguns. Why this simple logic escapes you is a mystery. It must be the gun nut thing.
Yet you are unable to provide any method in which to effectively ban handguns. Oh, sure, you'll say "make them illegal" like that is a solve. Or maybe you'll tell us to "do the same thing Australia did" like that will make people who have possession of illegal handguns suddenly go "you know what? Now that they're banning these things, I should just turn mine in." It must be a retard-who-works-as-an-HVAC-repairman-but-hates-greenhouse-gasses thing.
