You've made a lot of implications; and, all of them false. Nothing that I've posted has been an effort to get bodies in our office. You are mistaken. It's not your opinion that bothers me, it's your false accusations.

Hopefully, you are ready to "let it go, dude".

  2. Why do these firms only allow traders to day trade?...is there a more complex reason other than the commissions day trading generates.

  3. Yes, the complex reason is risk. Over-night trading is several times riskier. Everyone wants to make money risk free these days... But still some big traders at Hold do hold over night positions. I don't know whether if it is with only their own money or not, but they do it. I shall find out...

That is somewhat of an urban myth. MANY prop firms have no problem whatsoever with overnight positions.

  5. I made up everything I said because Hold Brothers head quarters is not sandwiched between the path station and Newport Centre Mall which has a food court on the 3rd floor. You seem like a big veteran in the business not someone who broke into trading recently because that would be on the NASD site. Thank you for straightening me out and I am moving on from this conversation now.

  7. Reyes Says
"This would be a very dead subject if not for the replies"

Not true... Reyes revived an old post fron 2002.

    Reyes Says,
"BTW, I believe it was clear that I explained Hold was the oldest PROP firm in the business"

Not true, older firms out there Bright, Shoey, Carlin.

    Reyes says,
"As a "shill" for Hold, I wanted to rebut the mis-information" then in another posts he says,
"Hold's Graybox has remarkably fast executions, is user friendly and has great features. CNBC and INC. have reported on this, and I've profited becuase of it"

    And your not a shill?

    Reyes says,
"I am not some shill; and, I do not have an agenda, nor am I peddling anything. I do trade for Hold, and I have been satisfied with the platform and the company"

Then we find out he is not just a "trader" at Hold, but a Branch Office Manager

Reyes give it up, your credability is shot.

I see you can count higher now-all the way up to 9, impressive. Oh.. and what a shocking conclusion to have learned that I am a branch manager. You've truly found the smoking gun in my hand. You are such a fool. Look at the thread. You've taken everything out of context for the sake of attempting to bash me. Where's the credibility in that? Outside of a handful of idiots, yourself included, most have had something constructive to question or add. I think you are the one with the credibility issue. Your last post looked like some kind of sleazy campaign ad. Have you considered going into politics?

I don't agree that it's most people's perception. I think most just find this thread a complete waste of time.

I'm glad you've finally decided to admit it.

Oh..by the way, I've never claimed to be a veteran. I let you know that I had a track record. There are certainly others with much more tenure than me. It takes a man to be successful in this business not a boy..or a brokerBOY for that matter.
