Well, run the rest. I did. 100% sim. I’ll bet him any amount that he cannot show NFA and comms on those trades.

My suggestion to @peter2h is just run your journal and call your limit orders ahead of time and let that be it. If you call a limit buy at 2900 with a 4 tick stop and 4 tick profit and readers can judge by the call, no blotter necessary, imo. If you take a trade but didn't call it, don't mention it. Either that or screen shot a chart showing the fill.

Thanks very much for taking the trouble to look at the trades which some people found too much work and preferred to go on the attack without knowing anything. Anyway, I understand the disbelief in the system which now astounds even me with its accuracy. It took a long time of just watching to gain the confidence to do this

Astounding? You're trading on IBTWS demo/sim.

Dude, 4 of those trades are completely bogus.

Show the NFA fees associated with those trades and I will leave ET. No new nicks. Just gone.

Your suggestion is good. I make some trades without having the time in advance to post the resting order. But the test of the system is whether the limit order put in far enough ahead of time to guarantee being near the front of the queue when the price is hit.

That's good, Cafeole. I have changed trading styles a bit in the last two years but I think it's still worth a look.

Alright, because I have no life I went back and checked all seven round-trip trades.

I checked to see if price traded through his orders at the same time as his timestamps since they were all limit orders to open (and close).

Five out of seven trades would have filled and made the four tick profit without hitting his 4 tick stop loss.

Two out of seven trades probably would not have filled. Price didn't trade through his limit.

Lastly, probably the most interesting fact is that almost all of his limit orders filled unrealistically too early. His fills were anywhere from 1 second to 90 seconds before price actually traded through.

After looking at all the data, I would have to agree with destriero that these are sim trades where the simulator is buying the bid and selling the ask.

Even so, five of seven of these trades actually would've made money, so the thinking behind them could be legit.

Here are my notes I made in Paint (lol):

    This thread is bullshit.

Not because he’s running demo fills, but because he is attempting to pass it off as legitimate, marketable trading. He denied it on the deleted feedback thread. He stated that the trades are hitting the tape.

Fine. Provide proof that NFA fees were paid on any of these blotter trades and I am gone.

I’d have to look again (L3) but I am not inclined to go back and mine for sim. Proving a negative.

Whether it’s sound if orders were actually generated is open to debate (not really). He isn’t transmitting orders which implies he has already failed.
