Scalping w/o level II

Would you say knowing level II data could lower my risk?

 

I never used it but worth a try to see if it helps I guess. If it was so great I think everybody would be saying get lvl 2 or don't trade.

 

Of course it'll lower your risk. Scalping w/o L2 is like having a blindman trading stocks. w/o L2 you are mission all the quick moves that creates entry/exit opportunities. I can't even imagine what it'd be like to scalp without L2. just my 2c

How do you use L2 in your trading

 

Level II can be deceiving when the MM's and others flash size then take it away because they know people watch it. Learn to read price action through chart patterns.

 

I agree. yes they can be deceiving. but as an agressive scalper, you hit into those bids/offers, and alot of times, you'll be in the money right away. for swing or longterm, L2 may not be as significant.
