hi all, i'm new and thanks in advance for any advice you may have. I've been scalping S&Ps at a prop firm for about 3 monthes. My setup is trend, tape reading, recognizing crowd on the tape and the book, and avoiding volatility while trading higher than normal Volumed stocks. I have a couple of questions: 1. how effective is this setup if anyone else is doing the same out there? 2. some days are profitable, how ever this past week was horrible. is it because of the lack of volume in the markets, causing a lack of momentum? 3. on average how long will it take for one to be proficient at scalping and with what kind of conditions will scalping be most effective? thanks all ronn
