I think on the days when you can’t spot any trends for profitable scalping, it’s better to make changes in your strategy or just don’t trade in those days. Everyone of us has bad days. Let’s just normalise that there’s no compulsion for a scalper to make a certain number of trades per day and it's okay to sometimes sit on their hands and protect the losses. In the end it doesn’t matter how many winning or losing trades you have, but how much you earned and saved.
There is no point in sticking to a strategy that doesn’t work anymore. You either make changes to it or build a new one.
there is no trading strategy whcih work for a long time , its all about short time trading approach even in spite of having most powerful money management.
I agree with you. If any strategy is not working for you, you should stop using it and find another one that fits your needs. This can save you a lot of time and money.
If you are following a strategy that is not profitable for you any longer, you should either change it or build a new strategy on new information. Don't stick to a strategy that never worked for you.
Yes, and it is always better to back-test your strategies for different time frames. Possibility of failure reduces to great extent.
I agree with other fellow traders here that a strategy should be refined if it is not working properly. When you are not sure what needs to be changed, it’s a good idea to make one change at a time in your strategy and back-test it. When you make two or three changes simultaneously you will never realise the actual fault.
