Strategies are considered to be changed all the time. You must never use the same strategy all the time.

I guess they come random and are equal however I simply try to take rest and try something new, spend more time on education.

In scalping, a trader only holds a position as long as it takes to reach their profit target, after which an order is placed to close the trade. Forex education is very important to guide one to make a profit.

Honestly, scalping is the most difficult and the most complex trading strategy. It needs experience for a trader to master scalping and when they have learnt the ins and outs of the scalping strategy, they can make decent profits.

  5. Scalping seems very attractive at first thought, as you can place as many trades as you want and earn many small profits in a day. However the opportunities for profitable scalping are a lot fewer than most traders imagine. Most of the time, Scalpers don’t even realise how much they are losing on spreads, commissions and slippage because every transaction involves costs.

  6. That is all calculated when you journal your trade with the net P/L at the end of the day
you wouldn't call that "losing" on spreads, commissions, its counted as the cost of business

The goal is to be in green at the end of the day/week/month, even after subtracting the spreads and commissions.

Agree the issue is exacerbated with volatility which are hard to predict and which often trigger stop loss and make losses slowly accumulate.

  8. Yes, absolutely it can happen. I don't have aa regular scalping schedule though, so it's hard to give an average

  9. There are very few traders who can actually stick to their strategies. It’s hard to make any decision as to which trading style is good or which time frame is better but you can only answer these questions for yourself when you start trading in the real market condition.
That’s why it is always prescribed to start small and find out what type of trader you are. Only experience can give you these answers and there’s no harm in changing your strategy from a short to medium or long term if it suits you.

Scalping requires experience and good sufficient knowledge on a trader’s part. Although the success rate of traders in scalping isn’t that high. Yet it doesn’t mean that its not a profitable style. Many traders solely rely on scalping for making money in forex and hence with the right strategy, timing and technique one can earn a good amount through it.
