Yeah, because fully investing poor granny in equities is the way to go...oh boy. Equities allocation is based on age and risk tolerance. A 20 yr old who VALUE cost averages (not DOLLAR) every month until retirement will be better off than 99% of the people here who are throwing their money in swing and day trading.
Another problem! You are looking at the average fund or the average trader. This makes no sense. Does the average league football player play for Chelsea? There are hedge funds that have track records for 30 years +, who cares if they have had losing years? Some have had 30% average annual returns over that period. They made that from some double years+ and some losing years and everything in between. You can stick your 12%pa with enormous drawdowns of 50%+ in the bin! And who cares about what the market has done for 100 years? I ain't gonna be alive in 100 years time....i want to be rich (or i should say richer) NOW!
No, that person will be better off than YOU. You can t make statements about others, you have have no idea how much money has been made by plenty of traders on here.
I nearly have the grail worked out but if you want it in going to have to charge * Don't read my journal nothing in the of interest, thanks
Oh, you are one of those....yeah, keep at it buddy, you'll get there LOL. I thought I was having a conversation with someone a little brighter than that. See ya !
http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/trading-diary-to-the-end-of-2013.279924/page-14 This is hilarious....you are here acting like a big shot and you freaking lost over 4% in 2013, when the mkt was up 30% ???? You are a troll, and you sir are a danger to any newbie who comes here...guess you did not learn anything with your over 5,300 posts and 11 years since you've been here. Unbelievable. People like you are the reason why these forums are such a danger.
Lol, 4% down, is that all? I'm not correlated to the stock market. Made 26% last year. Currently down 2% this month though. How about you? How have you done on your $1000?
