I got in at SBUX at 31.00 a couple of days ago. I am getting mixed signals on their potential earnings release. Anyone have some insite on what to possibly expect?
I don't know, but there are definite rumors that they have been leaking complaints of higher input prices - including dairy and milk prices - on the assumption they are dampening earnings expectation. Again, I don't know if this is true, but Bolling was talking about it last night on Fast Money. I only watch 20 minutes of CNBC each day, and it's the first 20 minutes of fast money - just to get a feel for overall sentiment. The rest of the time I tune into anything, it's Bloomberg. I can't tolerate CNBC anymore. It's intolerable.
