I personally think his policies are severely flawed but I can't deny his ability to make things happen. I have to give a lot of credit there.
Agreed. I thought this thing was dead. (I certainly wish that it was). For him to be able to pull this off is a testament to his persaverance.
Not really. It's more a testament to Congressmen's GREED. Obama and Peolosi basically said, "We need more votes. We have control of the public purse, so we can pay as much as it takes to bribe all but the ones who vote with principle".... capitalizing on the fact that "nearly all men have a price"... More true of Congress than perhaps any other societal crook. If you had the ability to "spend any amount of somebody else's money... absolutely NO LIMIT"... couldn't you find people who would accept your bribes, regardless of the consequence?
