A former Israeli defense advisor from the US military wrote this piece. It's got a lot of detail and is well worth the read for either side. If you're on the opposite side, at least you'll have clear points to understand why people support it. https://www.scottritterextra.com/p/the-october-7-hamas-assault-on-israel
Anything written by Scott Ritter -- who has been arrested and convicted multiple times for child sex offenses -- is not worth reading. He basically has no expertise whatsoever in areas he claims to be an expert in -- and has been proven wrong over and over again. Supposedly he was an weapons inspection advisor, he was never an expert on Israel.
I wouldn't let him babysit my kids, but this has nothing to do with his expertise, which must have been considerable to be a weapons inspector.
Actually his failures as a weapons inspector and problems with sticking with the facts have been outlined many times. And explain to me how be a "weapons inspector" suddenly makes Scott Ritter an expert on Israel and Hamas?
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 13,300, the enclave’s Health Ministry has announced. Among the dead are more than 5,600 children and 3,550 women, the ministry claimed, adding that a further 31,000 people have been wounded in the six weeks since Israel began bombarding the strip.
unless you believe women and children make a sizeable number of Hamas, not those 8000+....that is, if you define 100% of males above 18 as "hamas fighters".
