United States Complicity and Failure to Prevent the Israeli Government's Unfolding Genocide of Palestinians

The Israeli government is committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza with unconditional U.S. support.
Genocide is the gravest of crimes under international law. As defined by the international Genocide Convention (1948), genocide refers to specific actions – such as killing or deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of a group in whole or in part – taken with the intention of destroying, in whole or in part, the group targeted, including on ethnic or national grounds.

Numerous Israeli government leaders have expressed clear genocidal intentions and deployed dehumanizing characterizations of Palestinians, including “human animals.” At the same time, the Israeli military has bombed civilian areas and infrastructure, including by using chemical weapons, and deprived Palestinians of everything necessary for human life, including water, food, electricity, fuel, and medicine. Those statements of intent – when combined with mass killing, causing serious bodily and mental harm, and the total siege and closure creating conditions of life to bring about the physical destruction of the group – reveal evidence of an unfolding crime of genocide.

Since October 7, the Israeli government has killed at least 11,100 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including over 4,600 children, and injured more than 28,000. There is documented use of white phosphorus, and the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that by early November, “Israel [had] dropped more than 25,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip,” the “equivalent to two nuclear bombs.” Israel’s constant bombardments and total closure of Gaza has resulted in the collapse of Gaza’s entire healthcare capacity. The World Health Organization has verified 250 attacks on hospitals, ambulances, healthcare workers and patients in Gaza and the West Bank. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) estimates that 1.65 million people have been internally displaced across Gaza (statistics in this paragraph are current as of November 13).

    Can't be bothered.

Here is something from the UK's Daily Mash instead. You think Amercia has problems with this Israel insanity? The UK has brought ex PM David Cameron back as Foreign Secretary.

Summarised here. We are all going to die in a nuclear war, our last sensory awareness: the smell of cooking bacon.

'Nobody else knew where abroad was': six reasons why it had to be Cameron

DAVID Cameron has been appointed foreign secretary in an act of sheer desperation. Here’s why Sunak had no other choice:

‘Nobody else knew where abroad was’

In the parliament of rabid Brexiters Johnson gifted the nation, it is a mark of pride not to know anything about other countries. Indeed, joining the ERG requires an explicit denial they even exist. This proved problematic in appointing a foreign secretary. Eventually the call went out ‘has anyone heard of France?’ and only Cameron answered.

    ‘Jeremy was lonely’

As the lone Remainer in a Cabinet full of headbangers, Jeremy Hunt was lonely. He couldn’t talk to anyone because, in his words, ‘I don’t speak nutter’. He was threatening to quit, Tony Blair refused point blank to take a role and Nick Clegg didn’t even return calls so the Tories brought back Jeremy’s little friend.

‘He broke it so he might know how to fix it’

One June morning in 2016 David Cameron looked at the mess of wires and cogs and springs he’d made of the country, shrugged his shoulders and f**ked off. Ever since then the UK’s been a wheezing, malfunctioning wreck. The hope is he might remember where some of the bits go and get it running again.

    ‘He narrowly beat Labour once’

In two elections David Cameron managed to beat Labour with an amazing ten-seat majority in the second one, a towering achievement compared to polling today. If having his reliable ham-faced presence back in Cabinet wins upward of 22 votes that’s a massive swing to the Tories who will at this point try anything.

    ‘It properly f**ks Boris off’

13 years of Eton willy battles between two schoolboy rivals may have crippled the country, but also ended inconclusively with no clear winner. The return of David Cameron to a major office of state means that, by three years and a Baronetcy, Cam wins and Boz is a loser with a tiny dick and no pubes. This gives Britain closure.

‘He’s not afraid to shag a pig’

If anything sums up the weak Sunak government, it’s that none of them is man enough to give an oinking swine a good old-fashioned seeing-to until it squeals for mercy. Not one man jack of them can be pictured standing knees-bent behind a sow giving it what for. Cameron has no such public perception problem.

Maybe Hamas should not locate their military sites under hospitals.

Israel shows alleged Hamas ‘armory’ under children’s hospital in Gaza
    https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/14/midd...y-under-hospital-in-gaza-hnk-intl?cid=ios_app

The Israeli military’s focus on hospitals in Gaza is growing more intense as its campaign to eliminate Hamas from the enclave enters a sixth week.

The IDF invited news media to visit a medical center for children on Monday, where a spokesperson alleged parts of the basement had been a Hamas “command and control center” and may have been used to hold hostages.

A CNN team embedded with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and was shown guns and explosives in one room located beneath Al-Rantisi children’s hospital on Monday, which IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari termed an “armory.”

He also pointed to a chair with a rope next to it and a piece of women’s clothing, which he said would be tested for DNA, and a makeshift toilet.

Israel has repeatedly claimed that Hamas locates its operational bases in tunnels under hospitals and other civilian infrastructure. The access provided by the IDF provided Monday was an effort to back up those assertions, which are denied by Hamas, as well as health officials and hospitals in Gaza.

Concerns are mounting that hospitals are now being targeted for military action. Searing images and accounts from civilians inside continue to emerge and as doctors warn they cannot evacuate their most vulnerable patients.

Still not an excuse for a civilized country to bomb the hospital, if it is true.
