At least 2,000 children killed in Gaza – charity t least 2,000 children have died in Israel’s bombardment of Gaza over the past 17 days, UK-based aid group Save the Children has said. The charity cited figures from the Hamas-operated Health Ministry in Gaza, which stated on Monday that at least 5,087 people have been killed in Israel’s siege of the enclave, including at least 2,055 children. “Thousands of homes, and dozens of playgrounds, schools, hospitals, churches and mosques have been damaged or destroyed in Gaza,” Save the Children said. “At least 4,600 children [have been] injured as reported by the [Gaza] Ministry of Health – some with excruciating burns, lost limbs and other horrific blast injuries.” It claimed that Israeli airstrikes are “killing and injuring children indiscriminately.” In addition to the 2,055 children said to have been killed in Gaza, the charity also noted Israeli media reports stating that “a further 27 children were killed in Israel.”

This is the same Hamas Health Propaganda Ministry which said that 500 people had died when the hospital was hit by a missile -- there is no evidence supporting this number of claimed deaths.

Not quite sure what everyone thinks Russia is going to do. Their whole excursion into Ukraine has been a disaster. It has yet to be seen whether or not China wants to put on big boy pants or not. The US already has China checkmated and they know it. China doesnt give two shits about Palestinians or Iranians. The goal is Taiwan which they can probably take, but it is not going to be easy.
The thing is that in the early 20th century Islam in the Middle East was maturing and becoming well balanced with secular as had happened to European Christianity in the few centuries before. Never guess which country filled with religous nutters decided to bolster Islamic fanatic sects as they were violently opposed to the Soviets? And what's wrong with people who worship God and all? Gaza Health Ministry responds to Biden doubts The Health Ministry in Gaza has published the names of 6,747 people who it says have been killed in Israel’s retaliatory strikes on the Palestinian enclave since October 7. The 210-page report, which came out on Thursday, includes the name, age, gender, and ID number of each of the victims, including those of 2,665 children. The ministry said the list is not complete as almost 300 bodies remain unidentified, many people are missing, and some were buried without being admitted to the hospital. US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that he has “no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using” regarding the death toll in Gaza. Biden went on to say that he has “no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed,” adding that he is “sure innocents have been killed, and it’s the price of waging a war.”
