What makes you think the real Satoshi wants to be found? The real one could have proven himself a long time ago if he needed the headaches of fame.
In case you want to imply that he has been murdered: he has thought of staying anonymous, and managed all other hurdles, and shall fail in this important point? IMO unrealistic.
People die of all kind of causes beside murder, Mr. I watch too much Law and Order. Hell, haven't you hear of the Kleiman case? He was one of the most likely suspect to be Satoshi, and he is dead, but wasn't killed.
All Satoshi has to do is trade from his wallet and verify he has done so, if he wants to present a strong case for his identity. The big question is why has no one claiming to be Satoshi done this?
