Satoshi is Satoshi

The (possibly) REAL Satoshi comes online (after 4 years of not posting) and denies he is Dorian:

    Of course Reddit logic:

"This makes me think even more that Dorian truly is Satoshi. I mean, think about it. In the past when people have sworn they found out who Satoshi was, did the true Satoshi come out and claim it was false? Nope. But in this case, we haven't heard from Satoshi in years, yet after the news claims they found him, he shows up claiming its not him? Seems really suspicious to me.
What is really suspicious is the quote from the news. Either the reporter is COMPLETELY lying, or he more or less claimed he was involved in it. Then, later in the day, he claims he had nothing to do with Bitcoin. Two COMPLETELY different statements. What I think possibly happened was is the real Satoshi, who I believe could be Dorian, was so shocked that someone found him that he let it slip that he was involved in Bitcoin without really realizing what he had done. He had some time to think about it and then later in the day came out and completely denied he had anything to do with Bitcoin. THEN, a few hours later, we hear from the REAL, verified, Satoshi claiming its not him? Does that not seem suspicious to anyone else?
Truly, I believe there is a strong chance Dorian is the real Sataoshi and he is conducting damage control to try to get people off his back. I believe he is really worried now and is trying to do anything he can to get people to believe its not him."

Yeah I think this helps confirm that it is him. Poor guy just wants to be left alone and obviously didn't do it for the money since his family is struggling. The stress will probably kill him (he's apparently ill) if not some crazy. Also the gov, media and those going after the money are going to be relentless..

  7. C'mon, an engineer described by his brother as 'brilliant' can't spell resident? He's trolling all of us with the subliterate internet persona "Dorian Nakamoto, recident of Temple City." This is a guy who changed his name to the absurd "Dorian Prentice Nakamoto," so we already know he's capable of anything. And of course he wanted to be found, otherwise he wouldn't have used his real name. The only people whose lives are being destroyed are all the bitcoin fanboys watching their reclusive genius turned into a pensioner in a Members Only jacket.

Alright that was an easy one. The dead giveaway was that the forensic experts and the author were all women, and I watch CSI sometimes. Whenever a forensic expert cares more about her hair then the crime scene (not to mention not wearing a hair cover against contamination) then she can not be trusted.

All they needed to do is to look up Dorian's public writings (aka Amazon reviews and such) and they could have seen that his English isn't up to the white paper's standard. Also I wonder about those direct quotes if she recorded them with a recorder or cellphone (so she would have [proof later on) or was she just able to remember the conversation from memory? You would think a sleuth wanted an irrefutable proof when outing someone.....Now it is a he said, she said.

    Amateur hour at its finest....

Here are the people who were thought to be Satoshi: (all denied it)

    1. Shinichi Mochizuki, a Japanese mathematician whose proof of ‘abc conjecture’ is so long that other mathematicians are still verifying it.

    2. Nick Szabo, is a computer scientist, writer, and former law school professor at George Washington University. He is known for his research in digital contracts and digital currency.Between about 1998 and 2005 Szabo developed a mechanism for a decentralized digital currency that he called "bit gold", which some have called a 'direct precursor to the Bitcoin architecture'.

    3. Martti Malmi made the first ever bitcoin transaction from Finland, and Bitcoin was registered in Finland.

    4. UK based computer scientists Neal King, Vladimir Oksman and Charles Bry travelled to Finland two months before the Bitcoin domain was registered and released patent applications similar to Nakamoto’s research two days after the domain was registered. Their patent contained that obscure expression from the white paper.

    5. The CIA, apparently, Nakamoto Satoshi (first and last names reversed) in Japanese means ‘central thinking’

    6. Dorian Nakamoto, model train enthusiast and free lunch lover....

P.S.: The article left out Nick Szabo (what's wrong with these journalists??), so I completed the list...
