Wouldn't know. *shrug* But I do know (from watching you, of course) that being a blowhard doesn't make you friends.
1. Rowshan is the real deal. His calls on ET over the years (for you new guys Rowshan has had 20 plus screen names ) have been 75% solid. 2. He manages money and is wealthy. 3. Those who get involved in personalities miss the wisdom of certain ET'ers.
Sorry Pabst. I respect you, but making a poll saying "1000 or 700" is not a "call". Furthermore, making a "call" of "below 700 in a few days" and then saying "another winner" when it falls 30-40 points short does not bring credibility. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145430 Just in case you missed it or forgot. Please feel free to link to whatever "wisdom" we (or I) might have missed.
Thanks Pabst! I appreciate the sentiment but there's no point bothering with "agenda ivan the small". Jealousy does strange things to people. Witness this fool saying that my thread asking whether the S&P will get to 700 or 1000 first was "not" a call, despite my opening post to that thread: According to agenda ivan the small, there's no call here!
This is the "call" I was referring to: And the "haven't been wrong yet in 2008" which we all know is utter horseshit.
You said this, these are your words: So you said this, these are your words, but you were not referring to the thread that your words are referring to !! agenda ivan the small, you are truly embarrassing yourself. Holy moses!
Ivan you're my amigo but, He had the 2003 bottom and a few of the 2007 highs. He did a good job even in 04/05/06 of identifying the few tradable swing highs. He's had some great earnings plays-his specialty-and an awesome Belmont Stakes call. Yes a few of his calls sucked. Whose don't? Even the below 700 call was pretty good because just to get into a 7 handle was a longshot. You've made good calls too...lotsa credit to go round.
Sorry, I know this is English, but it makes little sense. Especially the "agenda ivan the small" phrase.
I guess I wasn't here during those calls, or didn't see them. But if the guy made some great calls, even though I think he's a yambag, I would certainly respect the calls. Fact is, I haven't been able to see any other than the one calling (near to) the top this last time around. And that makes one good call, and a few other random bad ones. Stock_trad3r has that record.
