I made a trip up to CT this week, deciding this week was a good time to go with everything close to normal. My home had power, although my workstation that I use as a server in my CT home did not power back on like it was supposed to. My home internet does work, which is a miracle (T1 basic line). Lots of debris in the yard but no flooding. Fortunately I'm more inland than the pals who are 2 feet from the water on long island. If I was young and modest paying my way through school again, I would rent a truck and transport gasoline to Long Island for $ 9.10/gallon.
