Sanctions?

  1. I don't know that much about it, but I hear we have sanctions on North Korea, Iran and Cuba.

Can somebody please explain how that makes me money?

I like customers, in my book, they are good.

Why would I do something to create less of them?

  2. the reason I ask is, with all this talk about North Korea, why don't we just lift the sanctions? Makes no sense to me. The only enemies we have left in the world are those that are not our customers.

Hard for that little shithead to control his people when products from all over the world start flowing in.

I liked it when Kennedy was tough on Cuba. But I would like it even more if they were a trading partner.

so the deal goes, you can buy and sell with us, but you can't kill us (and I don't know why you would want to. We're certainly not going to kill our suppliers or customers.)

someone said this an old political theory which has been debunked, but it still makes sense to me

especially when you look at Cuba, Iran and North Korea, just about the only three countries left in the world where we make no money.
