WTF??? http://www.samsung.com/au/products/monitors/tft/193t.asp As you can see, the old one isn't even listed anymore! By the way, my brother has a computer business, he's very versed on monitors and the like. Who do you think knows better? Cheers
The 191T is the swivel model with a contrast ratio of 700:1. The 191T+ doesn't swivel and has a contrast ratio of 750:1. All these questions about Samsung monitors can be answered on the Samsung website. I recommend going to websites for answers to most of the equipment questions because there is a lot of misinformation and wrong answers on this site.
Is a contrast ratio with a difference of 50 noticable? Before starting this thread I went to the website and lookes for the T+ specs and could not find them... Michael B
Now I understand, you are looking at the Australian Samsung website, which lists the 193T. The US Samsung website doesn't have the 193T. That's why I asked you to site your source. The fact that your brother has a computer business means nothing other than the fact that he has a computer business. As you know you have been in businesses and have known more about a certain product than the person who runs the business.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha. You crack me up, Scientist. What are you doing on the Australian site? Here is the URL for Samsung USA with the current monitors listed. You will see the 191T+ listed along with a 192T. http://www.samsungusa.com/cgi-bin/n...ser=&prod_path=/Computers+and+Related/Monitor
The Australian Samsung site used to have the 191's, 192's, until a couple of months ago - not anymore. What does that tell you? "Running" a business and being a business are two completely different things. Yeah, most people don't take their businesses very serious. That's why 9 in 10 businesses fail. In my family, where most people are business people, it is kind of a standard to be the best. We are serious about business. That includes trading. I still have a retail business (Jewellery Design, Manufacture & Retail), and you can be pretty guaranteed than no one will walk in there and know more about the craft or material or product or design than I do. Other than maybe specialists, such as gemmologists or metallurgists. You can have my word for that. My brother is a hardware guru, works very closely with international import/export electronic companies, particularly in computer hardware and audio hifi. He knows just about every inch and specific about every monitor out there, he knows where they're made, who uses whose factories and who puts his label on what. He knows the releases before they happen and gets things at privileged prices no other retailer can get. He also supplies me with the necessary hardware, such as TFT monitors. Do I need to be anymore specific? Thank you.
I put this jerk on ignore.....and then can see his replies. Get out of here scientist.... You know everthing and your God....ok....you happy ??? now go.. Michael B.
Hahahahahaaaaa What is so funny about that? I live in Australia, why would I need to import them from America, pay American prices, and American freight and shipping if they're made in Asia??? Samsung Australia is in no way inferior to Samsung USA - Hint : They are ---> the same company <--- As for the monitor, it looks like it's exactly the same as the 193T. So, the 191T+ is called 193T over here... Interesting to know. Cheers!
Well Savvy, who do you guess was the first person I put on MY ignore list? Who says I know everything or that I'm god? You??? Why don't you get a life and learn to use a search engine, so you don't bother people with your stupid questions all the time? And besides, just go and get your f*cking act together and stop stalking people who are actually contributing! Good luck on your quest.
