  4. This was my ~$1000+ baby!!! and my first $1000+ for 2011. That stop there was just letting me know that the market is still the boss!!!. However, reality hits and it is what it is.

  5. Hi Kon, I wanted to put a comment on that earlier. I usually have my charts set up (as default) with these moving averages. I use them most of the times, except for days like this. Since FAS gapped up by a point, these MA's were null and void and only came into use after 10:15-10:30am.

In the early hours, I tend to concentrate more on S/R and volume.

  6. Congrats! What does this "$1000+ for 2011" mean?

  7. Ignore my excitement; I was referring to MCP which hit my stop and than went on for another ~$4.00. It would have been nice to have a $1000+ day on the first trading day of 2011. I traded the morning session only today, so I might have made it. Maybe, I might have lost it too :)

  9. sam are you using madscan or trade-ideas.com for your trades? or just whatever is on the top 10 list?

I know FAS is in the top in a lot.

  10. Neither. I have a list of ~15 stocks, 10 of which seem to have become permanent. The other 5 are "hot" stocks (stocks which for a short period catches everyones attention and is moving on high volume. Example: MCP - at present).

I will also look at stocks pre- and intra-market to see the biggest winners/losers. Some will have good movement for intraday trading.

I also use a free service which works really well if used properly. I will PM you the link.
