I've opened SPY trades after 1pm on expiration day countless times on TastyWorks, and they're probably the cheapest for options outside of Free(RobinHood). I used to trade options with RobinHood and became extremely frustrated with them and their limited platform. The free commission wasn't worth the hassle.
