I get calls at my Univ regularly from Biomed/Pharma/Heathcare companies desparately looking for students with graduate degrees. I look around and see NO locals. All I see are East and South asians. All get H1Bs. And yes we are ranked top ten. Maybe the financial meltdown might actually encourage people to study engineering and not financial engineering. whatever happenned to paying dues??
