    Romik,
Did you get it? I was watching and rooting for you. When I start rooting I scare my dog but couldn't help it.

    Good play for you man.

  3. Shorted 1609.5 just after the open for a sharp drop. Two so-so trades after that. Didn't play the afternoon, though if this keeps up, I may have to make a point of coming back for 1400 (EST).

Well, it looks like everybody pretty much made their points today. I sure wish I wouldn't have had to get mine when the market was barely trading today. But I did. Looks like we all got a good start of the week, lets just keep it going...:)

    Dont worry 4RE,

I'm in the same boat, wishing I had been able to trade the afternoon session. What opportunities! I saw a double short around 76-73 and a nice 81-79 plus mucho more. Oh well, work calls.

If I was superstitious, I'd think the market was testing me with all these missed opportunities :)

BTW, how do you determine the different time scales you use on the charts you post, 4RE? I posted two of your charts below. They seem to be using different time scales though I can see the advantage. I like how your charts make it easy to see S+R, mine sure as heck don't!

    Pkts,
The charts I am posting are Profit charts used by options xpress. I like the versatility of their charts for planning my trades. They do not have the 24 hr prices on them but it is very easy for me to see the important stuff. I use my E signal charts for actual trading. The profit charts let me select the number of days and then the time so I use the 15 day, 15 minute. For posting on here. If I can't find what I am looking for on that one then I have to cahnge until I find what I am looking for. You can use the same charts just by opening an account with options xpress. I don't think you even have to fund the account to sign up with them.

    Hi Everybody,
Here are my numbers for tomorrow:

Long 1272-1274.50 this high is where the linear regression line is. Intsitution guys love to test this level.

Short 1263.75 - 1261.75 not much wiggle room here so if you take this and see it reversing on you exit with some profits and wait for the next set up.

The next support level would be short at 1259.

Good luck and happy trading tomorrow.

    Note:

Also be advised of 8:55 ET redbook. Since I am trying to be as unbiased as I can be I will be monitoring before this comes out with an order ready but I don't just jump in these trades. I let the market suck me in and get ready to make a quick exit. Usually the market will re trace on these news plays at least as fast as the original move. If not used to these trades don't even mess with it. You can win or lose very fast and we don't want to be gamblers in here. IMHO...
