I carried and closed a long position from yesterday, nice result. Added to the short, obviously it's still open.

You been away today I take it.

Yeah, I stopped by the house this morning and shot out a post and checked the charts but then I had to leave again. No day trades taken this week. My Q's are looking very nice right now though they have made me about 8K this week. I am trying to figure what my next move is going to be after the Q's hit 43.30. That is the next major resistance. I do see it continuing up past 44 in the near future. I might just let it ride until the Nov elections and then decide.

How about the mouth on Porgie. I see you had it with his wise ass too. Always crying about how mean everyone is to him then goes around spewing his crap all over ET.

WTG on your long position. I have been keeping up as much as possible this week. I don't know how long you are prepared to hold and build up your short position but it might be pretty nice to have after the elections. Wish you well on it. BTW how much is gas in England right now? Just curious.

Don't have a clue on gas, you mean retail right, in that case I am all electric.

The good thing about building the short gradually right now, is that I am hedged to the long side now with SPY calls and also trying to buy pullbacks, until the time when I start seeing some sort of bearish divergence forming on daily/weekly.

    Have a nice weekend all!

I meant gas for your car.

Your hedge has been working real nice for you hasn't it?

Take care and have a good weekend :)

OK, we call it petrol over here :)

Unleaded 95 is around $1.60 per litre, a F joke really, something like 85% tax.

I have a copy of The Disciplined Trader that my dog chewed the corners of that I'm willing to mail to anyone who may want to read it. Just let me know where to send it and I can send it. Better to have it get some use out there rather than me sending it to the dump. This was an old library book that I've since had to pay to replace, and am left with this one. You can still read every single word in it, the corners have just been chewed.

No worries if someone doesn't want it.

  9. We could swap!
I have a copy of The Disciplined Dog, badly mauled by a frustrated Trader.

;) Sounds enticing.... Not as enticing, though, as opening the doors and letting the dogs "accidentally" hit the road.
