  1. <i>"Pretty dang trendy if ya ask me, big range expansion.." </i>

I shorted S1 early for -1pt ER, next/last trade of the day was long 755.70 after Beige Book drivel.

That trade stalled & stalled, I trail stopped out for +1pt and broke even for the day... just before that trade went more than +6pts in favor from entry :<(

Gap & flat session for 5.5 hours until the late-day buying. 12pt total range, same as yesterday's range. Trendy, but just a normal day's span. When they hit 18pt to 20+pt intraday ranges, then we have something exceptional to work with.

    Sold Too Soon (grimace)

I think my call bought more than a cup of coffee, don't you?

As far as you saying me, Romik, AustinP and several others are looking for help and the more we talk the less we know. At least we put our money where our mouths are. Win or lose we take the hit without complaining. We might use each other at times to help validate our trades but I have never searched you out and asked for your help. So if at anytime you don't like what I have to say in the journal I started you can feel free to leave. But the next time you think it is cool to flame me on some other thread for no reason I will show you a new meaning of the word flame.

  4. First you said to look for a range expansion day today and then you said you were shorting at 755 which you had been waiting for, for quite awhile. Kind of hard to follow your logic, bud.

  5. It was actually 755.50 and add on at 756.50 with a 2pt stop. Was a great trade and the zone held for most of the day until the breakout. I usually dont try to call tops thats why I put a tight stop on it and reversed after I was stopped out and let my runners go. It was 25-1 risk reward with over a 70% probability of working out. I was wrong, its gonna happen sometimes, especially trading countertrend...

  6. What a day to go long and stay long. What does tomorrow bring? I think long trades are better off with trend following indicators rather than S/R, but I don't know. There does seem to be some reasonable support at 1365.00
I won't get to trade tomorrow but I'll play peek-a-boo from work. Good hunting!

Yes, tomorrow I would trade a breakout of a flag or pennant on the up side. And short 1363.00 (Old resistance becomes new support at 1363.50).

    Good luck everyone

    Gary

P.S. Did anyone trade the breakout of 1364 today?

Just looked at the charts. I can't believe I am missing this wonderful 3 point range day.
