  1. Agreed! Big yawn! Congrats on the "big sale". Stay outta' them pissin' contests. It's bad for your head. I'm outta' here in about an hour as I'll be off to work. Good trades to thsoe that have the opportunity.

No there really isn't a reason. If it takes all day for my numbers to hit I usually burned out from watching all day is all. If by chance I am watching within 30 minutes of close I would probably take it but not expect to get my full 2 points.

I might not watch much longer myself. I have some work to do so if I do it now I could be back this afternoon. Have a good day at work.

  5. This just looked too easy so I took it. Just scalped the NQ 5 lot for a point. A whole 120 bucks, but I'll take it. Gotta' go. Good trading!

    Thank you.

You know all you guys don't have to tip toe around me. I don't have any problems with people questioning me or my methods. It doesn't matter to me if people don't agree with me about anything. Feel free to ask anything and talk about anything.

  8. Hi 4re,
Have you ever contemplated another system for the days where the S/R levels aren't touched? I understand that S/R's purpose is to get in on the momentum runs and keep you out of choppy days and it's great for that. But it also keeps one from attaining a 1 point / day goal.

I have been looking for something to catch the nice trends that frequently occur between the S/R levels in order to provide more opportunity. If one wishes to make a living trading, I think they also need to have plenty of opportunity to make even just 1 ES point a day. Has anything along these lines crossed your mind?

For me, I'm looking at overbought/oversold indicators in conjunction with trend and volume. Still working on nailing down the rules and gaining the confidence in it.

    Hey Rick,
I really don't use anything else for my own trading. If I did it would be a chartpattern like flags or pennants. I have discussed a reversal method using bollinger bands that works very well on days like today. I would have had 2 trades today using that method. Both would have worked for about 2 points. But for me no.
