  1. I suppose it depends on your datafeed. But if new lows are reportedly three times what they were yesterday, I'd at least check.

  2. The advantage in a strategy like yours is that it doesn't make the slightest difference which way the market goes. All you have to do is listen and let it tell you what to do.

  3. I suggest that you guys let the journal owner trade his own method if it works for him. The last thing he needs is everbody and his grandmother telling him what to do.

    Thanks Electron,
I do trade my calls as posted. But I actually enjoy the feedback. It won't change the way I trade though. The good thing about the markets is the variety. I think everybody on here trades differently we just don't impose our will on other but we do discuss our likenesses and differences and you are welcome to do the same. We do it in a friendly manner and that is cool to me.

You do the same don't you? It just makes sense to me because like you say you don't like to hope.

  6. Yes, but it's your journal :)

And as you say, this isn't the only strategy. There's swing trading, for example. But swing trading the eminis is beyond the financial reach of most. So one might do this while swing trading the Qs.

    But that's another journal.

  7. Smooth man, smooth ... go ahead and handle your business.

    I have Resistance at 1260.60,

    and Support at 1256.329

I'll use them as reference points, while actually entering trades on the smaller timeframe.

I've been giving your "2.00 points and out" philosophy a lot of thought ... I currently have to leave for work in the evenings, and while I truly appreciate the fact that it allows me to follow this path, I really don't want to still be doing it a year from now!:p

    Best,

    Jimmy

    Jimmy,
I never thought I would get off night shift work. Even in the Navy I ran the largest Sleep Lab in the military. I got out of high school 24 years ago and spent a total of 12 yrs in the military between the Army and the Navy and still spent 13 years on nights. I guess I had to start my own company in order to work days.

I guess in your case it works out though doesn't it?

Your S/R numbers look ok but you might have to play them early today.

    Good Luck,

it is 0742 CST. I just got back from taking my son to school (last day of school before summer break). I missed the entry of 1268 long. I will hope for a pullback and enter at that time.

I am now in at 1268 long. I will set a stop limit of 1 point since movement is very slow at this time. I can always re enter when or if the pace picks up.
