  1. Those are just the initial feelers. Once they've confirmed that the market is not going to selloff, more buyers should be coming in in-size.

You should be right about this. One thing I have noticed on a lot of these patterns is that the closer it gets to the apex the less likely it will work. The good thing is that if you trade the breakout of these you would not get in on a failed pennant or flag. So it doesn't have to be right all the time.

This thing has more tricks in it's bag than Felix ...

    P.S.

This time is really good for backtesting, doing chores, etc. ...

  5. It is obvious now which way it went.

But note the short green bars on the rally (in contrast to the big red bars on the way down). That indicates a weak pullback, not an impending breakout to the upside.

Wide-range bars tend to indicate which way the market is going to go.

Of course, nothing is full-proof. Especially in this business.:)

  7. Whoa, for the a second there I thought I was on the ES Journal.

I'm inandlong @ 1268.25 (soooooo not a recommendation) myself, so I'll be cheering along with you RomiK (no signal, I just think this sucker is way oversold).

Of course, I could be wrong, (I haven't received official word from my indicators ...) :p

    Later,

P.S. If I eat it's a 4 pt stp, if it holds I take it to MOC. (see folks, that's what a few wins will do to to ya, make ya take foolhardy chances ...) because you think you know what you're talk'in about.

P.P.S. Everybody's a Market Einstein (Murray Regierro joke) in hindsight.

It was a great morning. Although I regret that I had to run out for awhile and missed out on an additional 6 pts. But, I was able to pick up 7 pts. earlier, so I'm certainly not complaining.

I thought that the 1269 support would hold, but looks like that's history. As I see it 1262 would be the next support. If that doesn't hold I see it as 1250.

I can't see that this will continue south without some sort of decent retracement, but doesn't seem to be happening.

    Romik,
What happened to the market while I was out. I'll have to email you some of my Copenhagen (tobacky). I think with a little chewin and spittin we could save this thing today. I presume you are going to play this one long term aren't you?
