So hard to trade this. Tried to get a long in there, hit my stop and now is a good 30 ticks higher. LOL.
Yes it is. That is why I used a sell stop below the level we were at before the news came out. I used the sell side because that has been the way of the day the last few meetings. But at least I didn't lose anything on it. Did you get in on this mornings action. That bull flag popped up real nice and worked for all that traded it. 4re
got my points, kwickpop and it's over. system doesn't trade divergence, and i doubt we're gonna get a sell-off today, so i'm done too. later, jj
Good job today. That was a kwickpop wasn't it. We would have gone down though if would have had my lucky tobacco in my mouth. I always do my best tradin whilst spittin tobacky. Have good one, 4re
Bwahahahah ! If I've learned one thing from these threads it's to be unique and innovative in your approach to the markets. It's like, if you're doing the same thing as the other guy(s)/gal(s) you're only going to achieve average results (at best) and you're going to have to use considerable MM skill to do better than breakeven in the markets. But if you study the folks who do their own thing, and then, don't emulate them, but figure out what your thing is, you can do very well. So, that's a long way of saying, yeah, you shoulda been chew'in an spitt'in! Later, Jimmy J
LMAO, well I got it in my mouth now and my option calls are rocking. I do believe we will see some follow through tomorrow as well. If we could close above 1284 I know we will see some follow through tomorrow. We all have to find something a little different to do while trading and mine is my tobacky. It also keeps my wife in a different room as well. So no interruptions. I gotta go get my hair cut so maybe I can be goodlooking. Hasn't worked so far but maybe this will be the one that will work. Once you get your S/R levels set post your chart so we can look at it and see if you missed anything. I would be glad to help. Thanks, 4re. I didn't see your post until after the market was open, but I didn't get any decent charts last night. I'll try again next week because I don't think I'm going to try to trade until after the 4th. But then again I might go long in the morning, set a stop and leave the house. The talking heads on TV are saying that mutual fund managers would like to pump the nasdaq to make their quarter look better and short sellers are covering, but if they really knew what moved the market they'd all be hanging out with Soros and Buffet.
