  1. Yeah, 4re gets distracted and reverts to form when he has too many things on his mind ... jeez, I'd hate to sneak up on the guy and tickle'em :D :D :D .

But having said, that there actually is a lesson here.

Holding Long (posting your position does make you accountable!).

    Later,

    4re,

Thanks for the YM numbers. Not sure how much I'll be able to trade today but I can always replay the tick file later.

OK, at 10:23 we got a break of 10980 and a short opportunity at 979. Give it a 10 point stop to 989 and look for 952 to cover.

  6. Jimmy -

What's the unit of measure for those candles on the chart you posted?

Sorry about that Boro but I would not be surprised if if hits again and if it does you should be ok for 20 this time. If my analysis is right we should be breaking out of a continuation pennant soon. If it does continue it will be to the down side. Of course I have seen it pop up first and then continue down. Watch closely and good luck.

    BTW Boro,
Do you have Bollinger bands on your charts?

  9. I like to use volume bars ... got the idea from Professor Logic (of all people!:p ).

They tend to show the price action a little better than time bars, but to tell you the truth a 10 min candlestick will also give you very good results.

Ultimately it's always going to be six of one and 1/2 a dozen of another ... no method wins everytime (unless you get really good at just playing one side of the fence or one specific technique, but then you have to patiently wait for your setups ... ) if you apply your self to a technique consistently you are going to get consistent results.

    Best,

    JJ
