Please don't lie to make a point. Please don't lie to make a point. The S&P was @ 806.6 when this thread was born. Is 806.6 really below 800 ?
Getting better at the math are we ? Seems like just yesterday you could not comprehend that 1550 > 1250 on your last s&P top call rubberbirdy. Btw, how much did you lose friday on the premium ?
I thought it was after the opening of the next day. My bad. Those 6.6 points don't make a bit of difference, though.
All you slugs make me laugh! If the S&P went to 705 the next day I would have gotten the same responses--guaranteed! I call for a bold +12% move in a day, and got a +8% move instead. Great call by mr. rowshan!
And so Mr. Rowshan gleefully skips off into the evening glowing with pride from such a great call. . .if only we could all see it.
You can't even keep your calls straight! You called for under 700 in a FEW DAYS and now you are saying you called for a 12% move in ONE DAY? Hahaha. Seriously BR, I give you credit for a well timed market move, however lets not kid ourselves here. The S&P did not trade under 700 as per the thread title. Case closed, you were wrong. And life goes on....
1) If the S&P traded anywhere near 700, I'm sure you would have been given credit for a great call. Unfortuantely, it didn't come close. 2) You didn't call for "a bold 12% move in a day". In fact, your vague "within days" call implies a few days at the least and a week or more at the most. It was a failed call.
