I am sure if you are a Russian citizen working in the West and defend Putin's war, you will not be looked at kindly, quite deservedly. But if you're actually a human being, and not a Putin robot, and as such have no choice but condemn the unprovoked military invasion unreservedly, no one will look at you twice.
I abhor those type of sanctions as much as you do. And the vilification of an entire race. We are on the same page on this. My point was that the west does currently not have any military options at all. Rather than admitting that and looking for negotiations to find solutions they cowardly instruct corporates and social justice warriors to promote hatred towards an entire race hoping this will make ordinary Russians put pressure on Putin. It won't work.
The cultural/private company sanctions are not about putting pressure on Putin. It is a natural immune reaction of the healthy part of the world to the cancerous metastasizing cell inside it. And it is news to me that "Russian citizen" is apparently now a race.

If I was a law-abiding Russian living anywhere in the world, including the US, and had a Google play or apple app account linked to a Russian Bank account or Russian email address then my accounts are LOCKED right now and my phone rendered useless. I can list up dozens of other examples. Please inform yourself because you appear clueless about the current state of affairs. Having a Russian email address or bank account was not a sin or crime last time I checked.
