I wholeheartedly disagree! First, it's spelled "offense". Second, if I had been wrong, I would have been a man about it, and taken my bashing from people like yourself.

    Anything else from you?

  4. Excessively patting yourself on the back is a sign of pride, and pride goeth before the fall. Look at alfonso for an example. He was just as 100% correct (check 2nd post in this thread) calling for new highs, yet unlike one attention-seeking individual on this thread who seems to think that just because he created the poll and made the call that this thread is now all about him, I haven't seen alfonso thumping his chest about his winning call. One trade does not a trader make, and you're only as good as your next trade.

If traders go about thumping their chests whenever they have a winner, what do they then do when they have a losing trade? If you fly high you also crash and burn. Rather, deemotionalizing results is key to achieving consistent superior results from my experience. The results don't make the man, the man makes the results.

  7. Look, it's not the worst thing in the world. It is very hard not to brag when one is proud of himself. But I was raised to believe that being a braggart is a negative personality trait and often hides a more deep-seated insecurity.

And maybe it pisses me off when someone can predict the market correctly more than once.. because I sure can't. Luckily my system doesn't require it, and I have the best system in the world that I created with my own brilliant mind.......

BTW Do you really believe in your signature "Lie, cheat and steal"?
I can't wish you luck if you really do, but if your just goof'n..Good Luck.

  9. Romeo/Nolan has been right on most major swings all year. Yet he gets none of the respect around here that Brandon or Hersey get. Instead of throwing out some techno-babble BS, he just sits back and makes good calls. Hate to break it to you guys with the 3min stohs up on the screen but Romeo's way is the way.

Maybe if Romeo cloaks his next call under the thread McClellan oscillator we can see 1000 pages of posts, endless debate over the "merits" of this "new system" and the Jim Jones like mass suicide of ET'ers if Romeo is ever banned. Of course LOL, tough guy to ban, he's probably posting under a different name in a different thread as we speak.

I don't trade the S&P. I trade bonds. Given the charts on both, hold onto your hats. Also really look at gold and the US dollar.
You're probably all ahead of me because I've been around awhile, a touch old fashioned. Thanks for reading. I enjoy your discussion.
