I haven't had positions like this in several years. I'm short 10 EuroFx, 10 ZB, 10 ES, and long 4 Corn and 2 Gold. I've gone from being a bit fucked to a bit flush in 5 weeks (the Euro is the nicest trade I've had in two years). I may liquidate everything (75k in open trade equity) other than ES so I can margin additional index shorts. Index margins SUCK!
Perhaps I am missing something, but are you saying that you have a position in 36 futures contracts using a 75K account?
You also called tops at 1140, 1180, 1200,1240, 1270, 1300, 1311, 1328, 1350, 1400, and 1431. This time is different right ?
No. My futures account has a net liq of 120. My open trade equity is 75k. I think my margin tonight will be a little over 85.
come on, bozo. if you're gonna state facts, do your homework. In 1998, I also called a top at 1100. But i don't see that on your list.

My apology but it is kind of hard to keep track of all these blown top calls. With your mentality I really don't doubt that your were short during the entire bubble.
Plogic, what do you see ? I will start getting bearish if we can break 1415 with some volume. Maybe thorn will be right and this is the January effect last push but with his track record, it is hard to take him seriously.
Thorn: I think this call will be accurate. Like I had said in the past all your calls have been accurate when the bonds were in a downtrend. S&P has to come down to 1320 for me to be really bullish.
